Terms and Conditions

Appointments:

  • Sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration unless otherwise agreed.

  • Appointments are confirmed once payment has been received in accordance with the payment terms below.

  • Therapy sessions are offered online & in person.

Payment:

  • Payment is required at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • If payment is not received by this time, the appointment may be released to another client.

  • Accepted payment methods: Card online

Cancellations and Rescheduling:

  • A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will be charged in full.

  • Appointments cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice will not incur a charge and may be rescheduled.

Confidentiality:

  • All information shared in therapy is treated as confidential.

  • However, confidentiality may be broken if there is reason to believe that you, or someone else, is at risk of serious harm, or if required by law. Wherever possible, this will be discussed with you before any disclosure.

Personal Information:

  • You will be asked to complete an intake form prior to your first session. This includes contact details, GP information, and an emergency contact. This is standard practice to ensure appropriate care and safety in case of risk.

  • Your information will be stored securely and in accordance with GDPR and data protection regulations.

Late Arrivals:

  • If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to avoid impacting other clients.

Therapist’s Responsibilities

  • Sessions will be conducted in a professional and ethical manner, in line with the BABCP ethical framework.

  • If your therapist is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, as much notice as possible will be given and the session rescheduled without charge.​

Emergency or Crisis Support

  • Please note that this service is not an emergency service.

  • If you are in immediate crisis or feel unsafe, please get in touch with your GP, call 999 or reach out to Samaritans: 116 123 (24/7),NHS 111 for urgent mental health support.
