Hello

Thank you for visiting my page, here you will find out more about me and what therapy would look like for you if you choose to book with me.

I’m a Certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT Therapist) based in Perthshire, Scotland, with several years of experience working in mental health charities and wellbeing services. My work is driven by a genuine passion for helping people understand themselves more deeply, overcome challenges, and find calm, confidence, and balance. If you’re feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or not quite yourself, therapy can help you make sense of what’s happening and find practical ways forward. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly and begin to rediscover your sense of stability and well-being.

My Approach

I work primarily with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). It is a structured, evidence-based approach that explores how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours interact. Together, we’ll look at what’s making you feel stuck and develop tools to help you cope, build resilience, and create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and person-centred; you are the expert of yourself. Every client is different, so I tailor sessions to your needs and goals, supporting you at your own pace. Alongside CBT, I often draw on Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Mindfulness-Based techniques to help you develop greater self-compassion and emotional awareness.

Areas of Support

I offer therapy for a wide range of challenges, including but not limited to:

  • Anxiety and panic

  • Stress and burnout

  • Low mood and depression

  • Low self-esteem and self-criticism

  • Relationship or family difficulties

  • Addiction and recovery support

  • Life transitions, loss, and uncertainty

Whether you’re struggling with specific difficulties or simply want to feel more grounded and confident, therapy can help you understand yourself better and move forward with clarity.

What to expect

Each session is tailored to you. We’ll work together to understand what’s happening in your life, identify goals that matter to you, and build practical strategies you can use day to day.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a time-limited and goal-focused approach, meaning the number of sessions will depend on what we’re working on and what feels most helpful for your progress.

Therapy is a process of self-discovery and growth, and I’ll be alongside you every step of the way — offering structure, support, and space to reflect as you move toward meaningful change.

Getting Started

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but it’s a brave and important act of self-care. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss what you’re looking for and whether we’d be a good fit. If you’re looking for a CBT therapist in Perthshire or online and you’re ready to start your journey. I’d love to hear from you.
